RID UK Ltd is able to offer a comprehensive service for companies looking to recycle electrical products either as part of the WEEE directive or simply to avoid landfill by recycling. The service is based around collection of end of life equipment either from producers premises or from last holder premises.

The new boxes we have are delivered to clients flat packed and easy construction allows up to 25 kg of electrical waste to be placed inside. We can then collect these boxes from premises by using ANC parcel services. The content of the boxes are fully recycled and the material breakdowns are available as they are for larger shipments. This new service is ideal for companies with small amounts of waste in many departments or small companies who have only a small amount of waste electrical products.

Storage Bins
RID UK offers a range of storage bins specific for your electrical and electronic waste. Depending on your electrical waste requirements small 90kg bins or large 450kg bins can be provided and exchange on an agreed timescale or when we are notified that the bins are full.
A range of electrical waste can be placed into the bins including complete end of life equipment, electrical components and production scrap.
For large shipments or as a cost affective method of shipment RID UK will arrange to collect palletised equipment for recycling.
(One pallet is classed as a standard euro size pallet securely stacked up to 1.5 meters high and shrink wrapped)
All transportation is done by a licensed waste carrier with a duty of care waste transfer note being issued for each shipment and a full material breakdown being available after recycling.

We are also keen to work with clients to meet their exact requirements and this has meant setting up special collection schemes such as reply paid envelopes.
